March: Sculpture’ month in B.A.
The Ministry of Culture of Buenos Aires presents March: Month of Sculpture in B.A., a series of exhibitions held by the Museum Luis Perlotti along with the Argentine Association of Sculptors, thought to celebrate Michelangelo’s birth (March 6, 1475). Expositions gather consecrated and novel artists:
Wed 5: Women sculptors, at Centro Cultural Marcó del Pont (Artigas 206).
Thu 6, 7pm: Sculptor’s Day, presentation of collective show at the Dirección General de Museos (Av. De los Italianos 851), by artists: Mabel Remeseiro, Eduardo Calandria, Antonio Pujía, Leo Vinci and César Fioravanti. Guest artist: Ferrucio Polacco.
Fri 7: opens Sculpture, theater and nature, at Centro Cultural Adán Buenosayres (Av. Asamblea 1200), with Pablo Edelstein as guest artist.
Sat 8, 7pm: Exhibition of the contest Bocetos Escultóricos y Croquis del 2007, at Centro de Museos de Buenos Aires (Av. De los Italianos 851).
All these exhtibitions can be visited until end of March.

Besides, until March 10, from 9am thru 10pm, the beautiful and complex pieces by ceramists and sculptors Vilma Villaverde and Beatriz Sobuá, can be appreciated among flowers and zig-zag paths along the Garden of Sculptures, in Nuñez neighborhood. This place has been specially created for the exhibition of sculptures in the open air, as a difference from conventional museums and art-places.
Exhibitions are presented permanently, along four annual shows (one per season), in which take part young and renowned artists.
