On Tuesday 8, with the projection of “Juego de escena”, latest film by prestigious Brazilian film-maker Eduardo Coutinho, the 10th Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Films begun. The program will allow the audience to enjoy renowned directors such as Abel Ferrara, Werner Herzog, Martin Scorsese, Naomi Kawase, Michael Haneke, Gus Van Sant, Jia Zhang-Ke and Todd Haynes, as well as Argentine film-makers, as Albertina Carri, Andrés Di Tella, Lucia Cedron, among others.
Opening night was at Teatro 25 de Mayo, in Villa Urquiza, and the festival will be presented at 9 different theaters until April 20, with 427 movies presented. For further information click here.
