Encounter with Alex de la Iglesia, in Buenos Aires
The Complejo Teatral de Buenos Aires and Fundación Cinemateca Argentina, with the contribution by Pachamama Cine and Cultural bureau of Spain’s embassy in Buenos Aires, organize this Encounter with Álex de la Iglesia, on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23, at Sala Leopoldo Lugones of Teatro San Martín.
The show comprises the latest tour films by this notable Spanish filmmaker, who has been able to re-elaborate classic cinematographic genres -western, suspense, horror and comedy- to transform them in movies of an unmistakable and personal style.

Tuesday 22
2.30pm and 6pm (124’; 35mm.) 800 balas (Spain; 2002). With Sancho Gracia, Carmen Maura, Eusebio Poncela.
9pm (107'; 35mm.). The Oxford Murders; Spain /France, 2008). With Elijah Wood, John Hurt, Leonor Watling. Based on the novel Crímenes imperceptibles, by Argentine writer Guillermo Martínez.
Wednesday 23:
2.30pm & 7.30 (110’; 35mm) - La comunidad (Spain; 2000). With Carmen Maura, Eduardo Antuña, María Asquerino.
5pm & 10pm (105’; 35mm.) - Crimen ferpecto (Spain /Italy, 2004). With Guillermo Toledo, Mónica Cervera, Luis Varela.
