The Sub-secretary of Cultural Heritage and the Direction of Museums present the exhibition "Remember me for ever " at Museo de Arte Hispanoamericano Isaac Fernández Blanco, which shows the postal graphic art from the latest 1800 and the early 20th century, as well as the cultural habit of correspondence. 900 postcards belonging to collectors Mabel and María Castellano Fotheringham compose the exhibition. Mabel y María Castellano Fotheringham are descendents from the founders of Nacional organization and their most valued heritage has been to continue that work with spirit of collectors. Since their adolescence, Mabel and María have collected beautiful objects with an aesthetic criterion but also with the intention to sum up parts of our common history. The main objective of their donations to the museum has been that those parts of past remained among us for ever and, as they had always enjoyed them finding and protect them, new generations would have the same opportunity in the future. Palacio Noel, where the museum seats, has been considered as a prolongation of their home for them and they deposited there their affection and generosity. Thus, they donated quiteñas’ images, Jesuitical pieces, Cusco’s paintings and other treasures. They also donated one of the most important collections of antique dolls in the country and have the same intention with their postcards. Exhibition "Recuérdame por siempre" will be open to the public until June 8. Museo Fernández Blanco, Suipacha 1422 (between Arroyo & Av. del Libertador), Retiro. Open hours: Tue-Sun 2pm-7pm. Monday closed. Admission: $1. Thurdays, free.
