Musical fusion in the voice of Ludmila Fernandez
This Saturday, Ludmila Fernández presents Diverso, her lattest CD, which offers the singular proposal of a versatile singer, who fusions the swing from jazz standards to Brazilian rhythms, even with the local color of folk music by Cuchi Leguizamón. This record also comprises two themes with lyrics by Ludmila over compositions by Alejandro Manzoni.
This material has been recorded along with Manzoni in piano, accordion and arrangements, Guido Martínez in bass, Leandro Savelón in drums, and Fernando Galimany in doublebass. And guest artists: Fernando Lerman (flute), Alan Plachta (guitar), Diego Alejandro (percussion) and Dora Chávez (choirs).
Diverso is her third CD, after Now's the time, which includes standards’ arrangements, and Oliverio Girondo. Para que siga dando vueltas, along with composer Fernando Lerman and more than 30 reknown local artists.
DIVERSO was edited by PAI Records ( www.pairecords.com.ar) and is distributed by MDR Records.
